Yellow River forest is located in Allamakee country in northeast lowa. One plant that live in the Yellow River is Flycatcher sandwort. Some animals that also live in the Yellow River are Purple Feather Grass and Cushion Forbs like Krascheninnikovia compacta. One endangered animal is the Yellow River Frog called Pelophylax Tenggerensis and one endangered plant is vascular plant as the Prominent Asian Licorice called Glycyrrhiza Uralensis. These are endangered species because people eat the frog and hunt the plant for goods and surviving.
