Yellow River forest is located in Allamakee country in northeast lowa. One plant that live in the Yellow River is Flycatcher sandwort. Some animals that also live in the Yellow River are Purple Feather Grass and Cushion Forbs like Krascheninnikovia compacta. One endangered animal is the Yellow River Frog called Pelophylax Tenggerensis and one endangered plant is vascular plant as the Prominent Asian Licorice called Glycyrrhiza Uralensis. These are endangered species because people eat the frog and hunt the plant for goods and surviving.
On 1332 the Yellow River flooded and 7 millions of people died.Some people got saved but, they got injured a lot. A lot of damage happened and the bridge to cross the Yellow River broke and got damaged.A lot of other damaged happened. People decided to built long dams and canals so, the Yellow River wouldn't flood again. But sometimes it still floods when there is huge rain and storm(hurricane).

The Yellow River is also important because it is good for traveling.The Yellow River made it easier for people to travel because the Yellow River was the second-longest river in Asia (sixth-longest river in the whole world.) The Yellow River is also important because it gives water to people to drink and use. And the water are fresh water.
